Don’t say yes to everything

A friend of mine had a small publishing business. She was thrilled to be offered a deal for one of her books by one of the very biggest supermarket chains in the UK. They wanted to order tens of thousands of books from her. It was the kind of deal that even big publishers would drool over. After the initial euphoria wore off, she sat down and did some figures.
