Inspiration comes from many sources. I give my mother credit for my natural and never-ending curiosity about people and relationships. When she was working on her master’s degree in theology when I was in high school, I vividly remember endless conversations with her, sometimes late into the evenings, about religious belief systems, “truths,” and what happens when different belief systems collide. Combine that with my personal love of philosophy, business, and neuroscience, and you have an interesting mix.
