Personal work management

This chapter helps you to control your workload better. It assumes you have a line manager and are part of a team, and want some simple advice on making your own time more productive.

1.1 UNDERSTANDING YOUR WORKLOAD

The starting point for managing your work is to understand your workload. Until you understand your workload you cannot manage or plan your time. You will struggle on projects if you cannot plan your own time.
