Distribute the RFP

Send the request for proposal (RFP), or similar document, to each potential bidder you identified as well as to those who respond to any public announcements. Ideally, you should send out a sufficient number to ensure three or more responses. Allow enough time between receipt of the RFP and the proposal due date to permit a comprehensive response. Request confirmation of RFP delivery.
