Clearly outline the purpose of the presentation. State your objective for the meeting and the reasons why the presentation is necessary. Some presentation objectives include project review summaries, problem escalation, phase or stage-gate transitions, and final project reporting.

Determine who will be attending the presentation and find out what about your project matters most to them. Identify issues and questions that they are likely to want addressed. Invite them, and confirm their attendance.
