Management and Summary Information

When providing high-level project information to project sponsors, managers, and other stakeholders, analyze the information before sending it. Begin with a short summary describing the main points you need to communicate. To clarify complicated or technical information, develop graphs, diagrams, and carefully written descriptions to make the information as clear as possible for the people who are not deeply involved with the project. Be careful to exclude unnecessary detail in high-level communications and presentations.
