The improving project manager

There are no perfect project managers. There is always more to learn: about the discipline itself, about the environments in which you operate, or about the disciplines in interfaces as we discussed in Part 7. Additionally, project management is at heart about people management – it is people who deliver projects and not project management itself. We can all, always, learn more about dealing with other people!

There are certain personality traits that make some people naturally good project managers, whilst others will tend to struggle. But project management is not rocket science, and anyone with the right attitude and aptitude can learn to be a good project manager.
