In the first five parts we looked at projects largely from the perspective of project teams, project managers and sponsors. But projects do not exist in isolation. They operate within an organisation and as a part of a society. The organisation and society shape the needs, pressures, opportunities and risks of a project. Successful projects work well within their specific environment.
