A PRODUCT MARKETER named Sophie and an engineer named Tim never met during our study of their companies, and we doubt they ever will. But should they ever meet, they would surely have much to discuss. Sophie worked at Karpenter Corporation, the once-great consumer products company whose Domain team you have already met.
