Plug-Ins

It is possible to write your own plug-ins (or add-ons) for iSeries Navigator if you have a working knowledge of C++, VB, or Java. A plug-in can add a new feature to the hierarchy tree, add a new option to a context menu, or whatever you like.

To get information on developing plug-ins, go to the Information Center and select Programming → iSeries Access → Programming → Developing iSeries Navigator plug-ins to see the page shown in Figure 11.3.
