Start With What You Know

Since you are already familiar with QSYS, you might as well start by using iSeries Navigator to view it in a different way. Select File Systems → Integrated File System → QSYS.LIB to see a list of libraries on your system. Expand one of the libraries, and you see a list of the objects in the library, similar to that shown in Figure 3.3. Note that files are identified as subdirectories, because they may contain more than one member. Also, I know it is a small point, but note how, in Figure 3.3, the object type and attribute are fully described in English.
