I was both honored and elated when Steven asked me to write the Epilogue for The Product Manager’s Survival Guide. This is a very special opportunity to wish you bon voyage as you leave the comfortable shoreline of your first days on the job as a new or recently appointed product manager. I also knew exactly what I wanted to say as you embark on your newfound career.
The words that came to mind were similar to what I had told myself as I recently set out on my own adventure. They are similar to the words I have spoken to the many product managers and Product Management teams that I have led throughout my career.
