CHAPTER 22 CHARTING YOUR CAREER

At the outset of this book, I stated that I wanted to transform this largely accidental profession called Product Management into a recognized discipline. To achieve this, I developed two general themes: one theme is related to a product and its journey across its life cycle, from beginning to end; the second theme is that of the product manager's journey across his or her career. Throughout the book, at the end of most chapters, I provided some suggestions for "Raising Your Product Management Experience Quotient (PMEQ)."
