Applying the Law of Large Numbers

The Law of Large Numbers guides the design of the scenario voting process. By providing an easy, lightweight way for users to give feedback, a development team increases the likelihook that users will vote and will subsequently vote on more scenarios. Wikipedia defines the Law of Large Numbers as follows (at least for now):

The law of large numbers (LLN) is a theorem in probability that describes the long-term stability of a random variable. Given a sample of independent and identically distributed random variables with a finite population mean and variance, the average of these observations will eventually approach and stay close to the population mean.[1]
