How the Prevention Tab Works
The prevention tab helps prevent defects by providing a place where preventive information can be gathered at a point in time when knowledge of the defect is greatest and storing the information for future use. In other words, the prevention tab helps the organization learn from its mistakes. By capturing information throughout all phases of the development process about how to prevent defects, the product team can alter processes, build tools, and train people to improve quality and avert defects.
