Encouraging Adoption of Innovative Practices

Everett Rogers provides guidance on the adoption of innovation. Adopters are placed in five categories with an explicit time ordering: Innovators, Early Adopters, Early Majority, Late Majority, and Laggards.[1] The categorizations define a number of properties about adopters that help in deciding how and why different types of people adopt innovative technologies and processes.
