JOHN ELKINGTON is a leading authority on sustainable development and triple-bottom-line business strategy. He was cofounder and a past chairman (1996–2006) of SustainAbility ( http://www.sustainability.com); now he is the organization’s chief entrepreneur. BusinessWeek has described him as “a dean of the corporate responsibility movement for three decades.” The Power of Unreasonable People is his seventeenth book. He was coauthor of The Green Consumer Guide, published in 1988, which sold around a million copies in twenty editions.
