25.3. Project Executing Processes

The execution of a project consists of managing those activities needed to complete the work defined in the project management plan. This involves coordinating people and resources, as well as integrating and performing the activities of each project phase in accordance with the plan. This also addresses the scope defined in the project scope statement and implements approved changes. Project management execution coordinates the performing organizations and other resources to carry out the intent of the project management plan and produce the project deliverables. Figure 25-3 defines the integration of the processes contained within the project management executing processes.
