20.4. Executing the Business Objectives

Once the initiation and planning (Figure 20-2) of the business objectives are completed, each objective is executed. The first step is to perform the objective implementation process (Chapter 21), which includes portfolio, program, and project organization and selection and preliminary scope definition. This is followed by the charter issuing process (Chapter 22), which authorizes funds for work to begin.
