20.2. Documenting Business Objectives

To continue with the planning process example in Subchapter 20.1, the business objectives and action items identified by the business unit teams are then further defined. To accomplish this, the sponsor assigned to each objective and business unit action item prepares or oversees the preparation of an objective/project profile (see Figure 20-4) and a potential impact study (see Figure 20-5).
