19.3. Executing the Business Strategies

Once initiation and planning of the strategic initiatives are completed, the execution of each strategy begins with the first step in the implementation of the initiative in the PBMM model, which is executive management’s authorization of business objective development planning.

The PBMM executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing processes for business strategy development that were developed and defined in the PBMM model in Chapter 10 and their relationships and interactions are shown in Figure 19-3. Strategic initiative execution is finished when work on the business strategy is either terminated or completed and the strategy is closed.
