5.2. The EPMO as a Business Objective

Before the enterprise’s management team can effectively prioritize, select, balance, initiate, and authorize portfolios, programs, or projects, business objectives must be defined. The job of the EPMO is to support the definition and successful accomplishment of these business objectives enterprise wide.
