This book provided a good overview of how to create effective black-and-white images. You have learned how important it can be to shoot in black and white, and also how to translate color into the right shades of gray. Now it is time for you to get out and do a lot of shooting and a lot of translating. When you shoot more black and white you will become better at it. That is truly how you will improve and become the excellent black-and-white photographer you can be!
