Insert Stop

After an action is recorded you can use the Insert Stop command to pause the action and give instructions. For example, if you’re creating a sharable action, you might want to alert users that they will need to enter some settings. When the action runs, a dialog displays your message. The user reads it and clicks Continue to move on with the action.

To add a message:

1. Click the step immediately before the step where you want the message to appear.

2. From the Actions panel menu, choose Insert Stop.

3. In the Insert Stop dialog, type the message you want to appear (Figure 6.9).
