Chapter Nineteen. Actions

If you’re old enough, you’ll remember back in the ’70s when it was predicted that in the future we’d live in an automated society. We’d have robots in our homes, drive hovercraft cars to work, and enjoy 20-hour workweeks. (Strangely enough, very few people forecasted that we’d all own personal computers and talk to each other on small, portable wireless phones.)

Obviously we aren’t at the level of automation in our everyday lives that the experts predicted. But I can live without that hovering car—because I can automate Photoshop. (Okay, I know that’s a bit of a stretch since I really really would love a hovercraft car and a robot, but it just makes for a good intro, you know?)
