A business plan is, essentially, a document that describes your business; describes your market and how you intend to position your business within that market; and projects your operating costs. It also illustrates how many goods and/or services you have to sell (and at what price in order to make a profit), who will be your clients, how many clients you need at a specific average sale to sell enough goods and services to retire young on Bikini Island, and how long it will take to get those clients.
