2. PhotoForge: Image Editing and Creative Effects

Now that you’re familiar with PhotoForge’s user interface and tools, it’s time to explore the app’s image adjustments and effects. The main photo-editing and creative effects options are listed in a drop-down, scrollable menu under the Filters icon.

Although this, the original, version of PhotoForge doesn’t have layers (you’ll need PhotoForge2 for that), you can apply multiple adjustments and effects on a single image. If you don’t like the results, simply use the Undo tool to revert back to a previous state.

Additionally, all adjustments are applied globally, that is, to the entire image. To make selective changes, you’ll need to use the Eraser tool to remove the adjustment from specific areas. ...
