An installation is a work that occupies a specific space and time, and usually an amount of effort goes into it. Usually, also, the only way of keeping a record of something as temporary as this is to photograph it. So why not use photography in the installation? And of course, make it complicated! The idea, though, is fairly straightforward, suggested by the greenery taking over a corner of the living room. Substitute the view. What made this possible was the coincidence that one of my lightboxes actually fitted the individual frames of the bow window. And that I had a more exotic view in mind ...
