EYELINES
Humans are naturally curious, if not downright nosy. If we see someone looking intently at something, we want to see what it is, and our eyes follow the gaze. We don’t want to miss out on the action, and if the person we’re paying attention to suddenly looks up and away, that’s irresistible. We can hardly help following that line of sight with our own eyes. Not surprisingly, it’s known as the eyeline. And when two individuals are looking at each other, and the two eyelines converge, they become almost magnetically the center of attention.
