Your Personal Business Plan Toolkit

It is important that the well-documented and time-tested framework of The Personal Business Plan leads to action for you and makes you succeed in your endeavors, just as it has for so many other life ambitious individuals. The following Toolkit gives you a template from which to answer all the key questions that you have been given to think about over the course of reading the book. You will also find this Toolkit available to download at thepersonalbusinessplan.com.

1 What is My Situation?

If you have difficulties in defining this, take your immediate answers to the following three questions. Then ask yourself the most simple and effective follow-up question of our language: “Why?”

Write down your answers in the spaces provided below.

What baggage of the past must I let go of?
What is meaningful to me right now?
To this end you may also ask yourself: “What preoccupies me?” and “What are my stay-awake issues?”
How can I move forward?

2 How Can I Thrive?

Wellbeing Analysis (Heaven and Hell):
Draw a horizontal line which represents your lifespan – along this line, plot in all the major events of your life. In a vertical axis on the left, plot in your wellbeing at the different events in your life. If it's positive (Heaven), you plot it above the horizontal line, if it's negative (Hell), your plot it below.
