Laura A. Schoppe is president and owner of Fuentek, LLC, based in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. In her 11 years of IP management experience, Ms. Schoppe has established an impressive track record of success in moving technologies into new markets. She has managed commercial IP and technology management activities for American Standard Companies, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Rohm and Haas, Textron, Xerox, and other clients. She has experience in all aspects of IP management, particularly leading license negotiation activities to transition innovations to new products. She recently led a project to organize, screen, assess, and market a major university's portfolio of over 700 patents. She also has developed and delivered technology commercialization training programs and successfully managed several marketing materials development projects. In addition, she has 12 years of experience leading research for several defense contractors.
