35.2. Introduction to the OCI Award
The PDMA initiated its Outstanding Corporate Innovator (OCI) Award in 1988. Over sixteen years, twenty-nine companies have been selected as award winners. They are shown in Table 35.1. Together, they represent a group of outstandingly successful organizations, chosen because they have met the four criteria for an OCI award winner:
