The resulting framework should also provide a means for improvement and increased proficiency. Several mechanisms help. Tracking work and decisions throughout the framework provides valuable insights and rich data. Analysis of the documents and data may reveal reoccurring challenges. Metrics on projects and the process provide another source of valuable data. Table 4.2 lists some potential metrics that the organization may wish to track.
