14.2.1. Objectives

Our goal for the first meeting was to kick off the project in a way that embodied innovation and generated a positive buzz about the Lab's activities. We wanted people to recognize that the Innovation Lab was truly a lab in which we would mix things together and see what we got, sometimes confirming our predictions but at other times sending us back to the drawing board. We had a plan but would be ready to change course along the way.
