10.2. Where Message Monitoring May Be Useful

Before we describe the steps involved in message monitoring, let's look at some situations in which the process is particularly useful.

Key brokers and central connectors are known. It is important to have identified or have the ability to identify which people (brokers, central connectors) to enlist to communicate certain messages and to provide feedback on the organizational understanding of some messages.
