Managing Challenging Behaviors

Fortunately for the human race, each person is an individual complete with his or her unique personality, background, and life experiences. However, this is not necessarily an advantage during an implementation. Personal life events and challenges become intertwined with team members’ jobs and ability to perform at work. As a person ventures through life and accumulates more experiences, she will approach new situations with preconceptions and assumptions. As a consultant, it is up to you to assess the individual’s reaction to a situation and quickly determine if you need to intervene.
