Diversity and inclusion initiatives have become increasingly common in corporations and non-profit organizations in the last twenty years; so much so that now diversity is practiced all over the world (Haq, 2004; Holvino & Kamp, 2009; Mor Barak, 2005). While many concepts, models, resources, and consultants have flourished who offer definitions of diversity, benchmark the “ten most successful diversity practices,” deliver diversity programs, and help organizations become more inclusive, a systemic perspective on diversity, inclusion, and equity in organizations is still very much lacking.
