Congratulations on your new NOOK Simple Touch. The NOOK Simple Touch was released by B&N in June 2011, and the NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight was released in April 2012. These NOOKs feature a touchscreen interface, remove the dual-screen of the first edition, and are smaller in size; reading on them is comfortable, though, and you won’t notice any loss because of the size difference. Actually, the reading experience is significantly improved, especially for the NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight, which has a built-in light that distributes a soft, even light over the entire screen.
