Chapter 11. Creating and Using Profiles and Your NOOK Today

The NOOK introduced NOOK Profiles™, which enable more than one user to use the same NOOK. Of particular interest are children’s profiles, where an adult can control what appears in the child’s profile. In addition, you have probably seen the Your NOOK Today on the Home screen. Understanding Profiles

Three types of profiles exist on the NOOK:

Primary: This is the profile to which the NOOK is registered. This profile has access to all content and can create and modify profiles. If something is bought on this NOOK, this profile’s credit card is charged.
