Every industry has its own indecipherable jargon; tech consulting is no exception.
To make sure that other people have a hard time understanding what we do, we often invent language so we can tell the insiders from the outsiders. Okay, perhaps that is not the reason we invent language, but regardless, it is a good idea to acquaint yourself with some terms so you can understand exactly what it means when someone says, “Let’s make sure the presales on this small-ball gig isn’t overexposed, creating a resource romance too early in the cycle.”
