Developing distributed IBM CICS applications
In this chapter, we outline the use of development systems to produce applications for use with IBM Customer Information Control System (IBM CICS) distributed applications. We describe two development scenarios, a lightweight Microsoft Windows system, and a heavyweight UNIX system. In both cases, we document how we prepared the system and the settings that we used.
