PART IV
Tying It All Together
This last section of the book ties together the concepts built in the earlier parts of the book, comparing the world of the hacker and maker with that of the scientist and engineer. Chapter 15 goes over the central concept of both worlds—that we learn more by failing than we do by succeeding, and that true progress is getting up after a failure and moving your field forward. Chapter 16 ties this to the process of learning science, and finally, Chapter 17 reflects on what a scientist might learn from a hacker.
