Tracking the AIDA Curve

How do you determine which phase of the AIDA curve your customers are in? This question is one of the hardest aspects of marketing. You need a big-picture understanding of your customers and what they know about your product or service.

First, look at where your company is in terms of development. Where does your product or service fit into the market? How familiar, in general, are your target customers with your type of product or service? How much information do you need to give them about it?
