Analytical vs. Creative Mindset

Most of the lead-generation marketers I know come from a mathematical or business background, not a creative one. I started as a computer programmer before earning my MBA in strategic management. Other lead-generation marketers I know were formerly accountants, electrical engineers, or economists. You don’t need a degree in computer science or economics to do lead-generation marketing, but you do need an analytical mindset. You must be able to think structurally, in terms of the different levels of the planning, organization, testing, and analysis used in a lead-generation campaign.
