In keeping with the book’s rock and roll references, I felt that some sort of culminating anthem was in order to set you on your path to IT transformation. I walked around singing various Nirvana, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin lyrics quietly to myself (an act of discipline, for sure) in hopes of stumbling upon some transcendent inspiration.

I finally settled not on a lyric, but on a passage from a book. After all, who better to inspire than Keith Richards? In his memoir, Life, the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist describes his longtime collaboration with Mick Jagger. He remembers their early partnership this way:
