The Need for Closure

The process of group development described in the last four sections builds relationships among group members. Participants have bonded and, at the end of the training or group work, will need to say goodbye to one another. The Adjourning section offers structured activities for ending training sessions and group work. These activities serve as a bridge back to the workplace or home.
