Troubleshooting for eBay sellers

If at any time during the listing and selling process you need help, don’t hesitate to contact eBay’s Customer service team. More details can be found in chapter 1.

You should contact your buyer via Messages to remind them politely to pay for their product. If payment has not been received within three to seven days, however, it’s unlikely the buyer is still interested. In this situation you should lodge a claim via the eBay resolution centre both for the refund of your final value fees and to alert eBay to your non-paying buyer.

Your final value fees will be credited to your account.

You can automate this process to begin after a specific number of days without payment. To do this, click My eBay at the top of any eBay page then click Site preferences. Under the ‘Selling preferences’ heading look for ‘Unpaid item assistant’, then click Show on the right. Click Edit to automate this process.
