For the paperback edition

Shouldn’t a book on innovation try out some new ideas? Since I was curious—though skeptical—about crowdsourcing (using the Web to let many people contribute to something), I invited readers of www.scottberkun.com to volunteer to help with this paperback edition of The Myths of Innovation. More than 60 people signed up: some didn’t do much, but more than 20 contributed significantly. Some friends helped out, too. We divided up the book into chapters, and individuals signed up to find typos, suggest corrections, improve references, offer counterarguments, and generally help to make this edition as accurate and current as possible. It’s a privilege as a writer to get this much help, and I’m grateful.
