Suggested Sequence of Updates

After you've completed all your research, made appropriate backups, and prepared your OSs for the change of hardware, it is time to implement that change. That is, it is time to perform the fourth and fifth steps of the procedure outlined at the beginning of this chapter.

The biggest question in performing these updates is in the sequence—which OS do you update first, which last, and which go in between? To some extent the ordering doesn't really matter as long as they all get finished; but there are a few reasons to do one OS before another.
