Using PartitionMagic

One of the most convenient methods of repartitioning a hard disk is to use a dynamic partition resizer such as PowerQuest's PartitionMagic (http://www.powerquest.com). PartitionMagic can do much more than most other partitioning programs. In addition to creating and deleting partitions, it can format a partition for any of several filesystems; change a partition's size; move a partition; copy a partition, either on a single disk or to another physical disk; and convert a partition from one filesystem to another (not all conversions are possible, though). This section describes some of PartitionMagic's more advanced features.
